Welcome
TO OUR SCHOOL
We are delighted to welcome you to our nurturing school where children are at the heart of everything we do. From our strategic decision-making through to teaching and learning, we strive to fulfil our ethos of nurturing every child for lifelong success.
At Ridgeway, staff prioritise getting to know each individual child and building strong relationships with every family, so that children are fully included and well-supported both academically and pastorally. We offer a rich and deep curriculum, which develops a wide range of skills, knowledge and interests in our children and gives them the tools needed to be happy and successful in life.
As a creative community, we often do things a little differently, but always with good reason. We utilise research, experience and the ideas of our children and wider community to continuously reflect on and develop our practice. Our children develop high expectations of themselves and become responsible citizens who have respect for others. A continuous focus on developing confidence and independence means that children leave Ridgeway ready to face the challenges that life brings.

"We have been made to feel so welcome at Ridgeway. Our daughter enjoyed the meet the teacher session in the summer and didn't stop talking about it for weeks."
"My son is thoroughly enjoying his start to school life; staff are enthusiastic, attentive and the transition has been incredibly smooth. Really happy with our choice of school and I think he will thrive in the positive learning environment that is created at Ridgeway Primary School."
[Ridgeway is] an example of what children can achieve with the right support and stimulation.
We wanted to convey our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers who have really helped [our child] grow and instilled in him a sense of confidence and ability to challenge/question things. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel towards the school in terms of nurturing his overall development emotionally and academically.
I wanted to express how, as an Education Consultant for Lambeth Virtual School, I have been impressed by many things about your school ethos and support.
[Our children] are thriving and engaged with their learning and I think this is down to the positive and calm learning environment they are in.
[Our child] has really loved his time in Ridgeway Primary where he has received a solid foundation for his education and has learnt several values for life. We have seen him learn and grow and evolve into an individual with a thirst for learning.
Ridgeway is a key partner school for the University of Roehampton. This partnership has enabled us to draw on the school’s expertise and innovative practices in teaching and learning.
